Office Hours and Cleaning Hours

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Cleaning hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

Holiday and Office Closings

Maid to Clean observes the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

If a routine cleaning falls on one of the holidays above, we will contact you in advance to reschedule. For all other holidays not listed, Maid to Clean will be open and our cleaning teams will be hard at work.

 

Estimated Arrival Time

We will discuss an arrival window with you when scheduling your cleaning. We require a 4 hour arrival window.

 

Entry to Your Home or Office

For recurring service, our preference is to have a key to your home or office or to pick up a key from your building’s front desk. If you wish to be present during the cleaning, please note that we require a 4 to 5 hour window of arrival.

 

Payment Policy

Clients can prepay for their cleaning services online using the  Schedule a Cleaning form or pay at time of service. Maid to Clean accepts the following payment methods: cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We require a credit card on file to guarantee your cleaning appointment and payment is due at time of service.  Our minimum rate is $132.00 for routine/recurring cleaning services and $198.00 minimum for all other services. Note: We require a 24 hour notice for all cancellations or rescheduled cleanings.  If a cleaning is cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment date, a $132.00 late cancellation fee will be automatically billed to the card. Tips are not expected, but are appreciated. You can choose to tip your team either by cash or by checks written under their names only.

 

Additional Charges

For recurring service, an additional fee of $44.00 per hour, per team member may be charged to your account if we exceed the time generally allotted to clean your home. For example, if you have recently hosted an event at your home and now it requires additional cleaning time to get it back to a spotless state.

 

Coupons and Discounts

Maid to Clean honors coupons and discounts for new clients only with non-capped cleanings.  If cost is a concern, please call our office to discuss a capped cleaning.

 

Late Payment

Payment is due at time of service.  A $35.00 late payment fee per cleaning will be added to your account after 30 days.

Should Maid to Clean find it necessary to contract a third party “collection agency” to recoup a payment on your behalf, resulting in Maid to Clean incurring fees for such services, we reserve the right to pass on the collection fees to your unpaid balance.

 

Your Cleaning is Guaranteed

We guarantee the cleaning we provide in the time allotted. If we did not clean an area properly, please contact us within 24 hours after your cleaning. We will schedule a re-cleaning appointment on the next business day at no cost to you. After the re-cleaning, if you still have concerns, we will meet with you again to discuss.

 

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy

You can reschedule or cancel an appointment on our website, or by calling the office at (703) 299-0101. To cancel or reschedule without penalty, please advise us before 11:00am on the business day prior to your appointment. Monday and Saturday clients must provide notice before 11:00am on the preceding Friday. A $138.00 fee is automatically billed to credit cards for a late cancellation or late rescheduling.
